I loved staying at Caicos Cays! It’s my second time there and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else on Providenciales.

I love to paddle board and it was perfect to go off the dock and step right into Chalk Sound National Park right behind the house. The house comes equipped with paddleboards and kayaks to play out in the sound.

One day we just played right outside off the dock and drank beers and told stories. It was a perfect afternoon with my friends.

Fun and safe place to paddleboard, snorkel, kayak. I loved going out to the reefs and then to Iguana Island.

Don’t miss the shipwreck over by the airport! That was a fun afternoon with my friends paddling and kayaking out there. We then snorkeled the plane wreck.

It’s also very quick walk over to Taylor Bay which is another gorgeous beach area on island.

You’ll have a great time! I’m already plotting my next trip down.

The Caicos Cays house and guest house could not have been better for our family vacation. Our extended family stayed in the main house (which is stunning!) and we stayed in the guest house with our baby and preschooler. The set up was perfect for us—the baby was in the pack-n-play (the pack-n-play with changing table and removable bassinet is provided). Our preschooler slept on the pull out couch on the main level and we could close our bedroom door when the baby woke up so she didn’t wake up our preschooler. What was even better was that the monitor we brought reached the main house which allowed us to put the kids to bed and then spend time at the main house with the rest of our family.

The house also has some kid equipment, such as life vests. At first I was nervous about taking a vacation centered around water activities with little kids, but we kept a close eye on them around the pool and had the preschooler wear a life vest any time she was in (r near) the water. Grandma watched our baby so we could take our preschooler with us out on the kayaks to explore the sound and paddle around some of the small islands nearby. It was the highlight of the trip for her! There’s also a beautiful, quiet beach a 15 minute walk away. We brought a picnic blanket for the kids to sit on when they go tired of splashing in the waves.

Overall, it was the best vacation we’ve taken since having kids. Having the kids sleep in the quiet guest house while we sat by the pool and played (loud) games late into the night was perfect. As an added bonus, the amazing outdoor rain showers, pool and hot tub, all of the water equipment, the location, and the overall beauty of both the house and the views truly made this a tropical paradise (even with kids!).
